A Record Setting Fall Festival
Ten minutes til’ “show time” the cars start rolling in. A non-stop flow of cars came by the dozens to fill up our parking area to participate in the 2022 Fall Festival. We were flooded immediately with the joy and laughter from people far and wide. Over five hundred people participated in this event.
We had some new additions to our fall festival this year such as a fire pit and s’mores station, a barn tour to meet the horses, and a few new games. Of course we had the crowd favorites as well such as the pony rides and hay rides. Top of the activities provided we had our silent auction that had some amazing items donated from local artists and businesses such as Sunrise Bank, Fiberglass Florida, Busy Bee Cleaning, Fish Studio Photography, Slug-A-Bug, and many more!
The outcome of making more than we have ever made at a fall festival warmed our hearts knowing what it was for. This event provided the funds to fill the Tyler Chance Scholarship Fund for Autism. Tyler Chance was a huge part of Walk on Water and sadly passed away in 2021. Tyler was a light to our ministry and will continue to be a light while we are able to provide equine assisted therapy to those with autism that cannot financially afford it.
A huge thank you goes out to all of the volunteers that helped prepare for the festival in advance, those that baked and crafted baskets, those that helped set up, those that worked the event, and those that helped clean up. We could not do it with out our volunteers!
